WSET Level 2 Award in Wines - Online (hybrid version)

Course price: 450 EUR

The price includes online lectures and wine tasting, literature, the exam as well as the WSET certificate and pin after successfully passing the exam. The course is held in English in Sremski Karlovci, address: Trg Branka Radičevića 1.

The duration of online lectures is three days for three hours.

The deadline for registration is two weeks before the start of the course, which includes full payment!

Cancellation of confirmed places is accepted up to 20 working days before the start of the course. The administrative fee in the amount of 5,000 dinars will be deducted, and the remaining amount of the course fee will be returned to the user (minus the cost of study materials).
The transfer of a confirmed reservation to another course (only from a lower to a higher level) or candidate can be made up to 20 working days before the course start date with the payment of an administrative fee of 4000 dinars plus the costs of additional study materials that may be applicable. Transfer or change of the date of the selected course is possible, at least 20 days before the start of the originally selected training date. All transfers are subject to availability.
If a confirmed course booking is canceled within 20 working days before the start of the course or at any time after the start of the course, no refund or transfer of course fees will be made. Course fees will be fully refunded if the Wine Academy of Serbia changes the course date or cancels the course if the number of enrolled students does not reach the required minimum number - notification will be provided 15 working days before the planned start date.
It is important that the customer provides a complete and accurate delivery address and that someone is available to receive the package at that address at the time specified. Any material returned to our distribution center, which is not successfully received by the customer, will automatically be charged an additional return cost.

WSET Level 2 Award in Wines - Online presents a more in-depth online training for those working in the wine sector as well as for all wine enthusiasts

How does the course work?

Online training works in a way that only the theoretical part is held online, i.e. through the Zoom application, while the wine tasting and the test are held live in the Academy's premises. Online lectures are taught as if you were in a classroom, so you have direct communication with the lecturer. The participants follow the presentation that will be online and will always be able to ask questions to the lecturer. A participant who chooses this type of training must have a good internet connection. After the student registers, he needs to make a payment, after which he receives the necessary literature.
After completing the online part, the participant should come to the wine tasting, as well as to the test.
Online lectures are held for three days for 3 hours, and the tasting lasts for two days for 3 hours and 30 minutes. The test lasts 1 hour. You choose the date of the course! All lectures, exams and literature are in English!

Who is the course for?

This qualification is aimed at beginners who want to get to know wine in a more detailed way or those who want to build on the introductory knowledge gained with WSET Level 1. Apart from beginners who are just entering the world of wine, this level also represents an opportunity for professional development for all those who are already in the wine business, in order to improve their knowledge and skills. During this training, participants will have the opportunity to, in addition to the theoretical part, improve themselves practically through wine tasting. The WSET Level 2 Award in Wines deals with learning about the influence of climate, vinification and different grape varieties on the quality and style of wine, worldwide. In addition to learning about wine varieties and regions, through this level participants also gain knowledge about sparkling and fortified wines. Also, WSET Level 2 deals with learning about wine terms that are an integral part of wine labelling. Through a combination of tasting and theory, participants will explore the factors that influence the style and quality of wine and learn how to rate and describe wines with confidence. It is intended for future sommeliers, tourist guides, students, wine merchants, future wine experts, but also wine lovers who want to learn more about wine.
No previous knowledge is required to apply for this course, so anyone who truly wants to learn the basics of wine, how to taste and rate wine, is welcome!
