The Wine Academy of Serbia was founded with the noble goal of providing every wine lover, winemaker, and viticulturist with an education that will be of great help both for wine tasting and wine service, pairing wine and food, and wine production. The Wine Academy of Serbia has become part of the world's most prestigious and respected wine school in the world (Wine and Spirit Education Trust). Therefore, we have the privilege to teach our future students according to the highest international standards, and to award successful students a certificate that is recognized throughout the planet and is the most valued among the wine world.
The courses are held in an environment surrounded by vineyards in one of the most beautiful wine towns, Sremski Karlovci. Thus, each of the students have the opportunity to find out and see where the wine story begins, which is a precedent for wine training. In addition to learning about the vine as the basis and starting point for wine production, the students learn about wine through the theoretical and practical part, i.e. wine tasting. The topics include the basics of winemaking and viticulture, techniques of sensory evaluation and analysis of wine, service and wine etiquette, matching wine and food, as well as familiarization with the characteristic varieties of the most famous wine regions.
